PROPOSALS ENGINEER (sales & estimating)
LOCATION: Sheffield, Doncaster
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £25 - 30k p.a. + excellent bens
COMPANY INFORMATION:
With a turnover of approximately £15 million per annum, our client is an industry leader in pneumatic accessories and supply chain goods for a number of sectors. They require a Proposals Engineer to join their successful team.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
·Ability to use modern CRM computer based systems
·Experience of preparing proposals
·Good negotiation skills
·Experience within a similar environment
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
·Experience of sizing/designing systems would be a plus. Engineers who have worked mainly with consumables will be less desirable than those who have worked with heavy industry.
·Experience of working on a number of high value large projects is preferable rather than lots of small ones
·Any experience of estimating.
·Any understanding of pneumatics.
·Customer contact experience very important especially if it has involved negotiation
·Experience of terms and conditions would be an advantage as would experience of cash flows
ROLE INFORMATION:
Working as part of an established team within the New Systems Division you will ensure proposals are delivered on time and effectively.
Liase with staff both internally and externally.
Present to clients on sales visits if and when required.
